recent events

just thought  i'd fill you in on a couple of things:

I'm loving the addition of some color to my hair

playing with the kiddos

watching not just these sunflowers bloom in my garden,

these also,

and we've got squash!

been hanging out in the hammock .

and remember these cupcakes?

the little girl whose mommy's baby shower they were for turned 1. I made them again. along with this one just for little Olivia.

tomorrow is the launch of my shop! cannot wait! see ya then!

 I am joining up with Gussy for her Inspiration Workshop. Each week we get a different prompt & this week’s prompt is: green!

as you know. I have a brown thumb {literally too}. I told you about how I've tried gardening before. I'm horrible at it. I've really been trying this year. it's a little hard with a little 1 yr old girl who hates grass. but I'm really, really happy with it this year. I also can't wait til next year because I know it'll be even better then! :) but for now I thought I'd share my beautiful greenery with you! 

we've got tomatoes of course! just 3 plants

{shirtless D in the back} we also had some green beans but they didn't make it past the freezing temps at the beginning of last month. also some cucumbers, yellow squash, corn {didn't get a pic of those, not much to look at yet}

can you say PESTO?! what about gourmet grilled cheese! with fresh picked basil, & tomatoes?! wish I could plant some bacon! ha!

Sunflowers!

The ones on the far right are the red-ish ones! can't wait to see those bloom!

can't wait to bring them in & make bouquets :)

I feel like I'm up to my eyeballs in superhero capes

but it's a good thing..
