I lived in Southern California until I was 14. SNOW?! in your front/back/side yard?!! what?! awesome!
So I've never built anything in the snow.
I made my first snow angel last week.
Today I remembered that for D's birthday, my friend Jenni gave him a snow/sand block mold!
So you know... we had to build an igloo
it was lot's of work.
but tons of fun.
in the middle of building Katlyn was all, "this is making me pretty happy".
in the words of everyone on The Bachelor "it was AMAZING!"
We had a blast! D learned how to make & throw a pretty mean snowball, he made snow angels, fell a few times & ate so much snow he had to pee every 5 seconds. when we were done we were ready for a cup of hot chocolate. with marshmallows of course.

That igloo is awesome!!! My cousins and I built one when I was really little...well maybe my grandma and grandpa built it for us...but it wasn't as cool as that one!! How fun. :)
ReplyDeleteI love you Emma! I had a great time building the igloo, I feelt like my fingers were going to fall off but it was a blast! And yes it did make me happy, very happy:)
